Getting caught in the snow...

Yesterday afternoon I was really excited to get out of the house, and take "the teenager" into the city to finally get his golf clubs fitted, he had been waiting since Christmas!
When we bought them, the salesman told us they would fit a man up to 6' tall... much to my surprise when he was fitted, they had to add another 1/2" to the clubs. It was all very technical and I didn't understand any of it, except he was hitting them much more accurate in the simulator after the fitting than before (darn I had the camera and forgot to get pictures... sorry).
On the way home, my strong silent mysterious man called to let us know it was snowing where we lived and to get ourselves back home quickly and safely, it didn't show any signs of slowing down.
The teenager was driving on the way home...

It started snowing, but it was pretty light and fluffy stuff...

Nothing he couldn't handle, not even sticking to the road yet...
So we stopped by the store and picked up some groceries... and in just a few short minutes in the store, it was really starting to get white outside.
I decided to drive the rest of the way home, and it turned into blizzard conditions.
We only ended up with 3 inches, but it just came down all at once and made a mess of the evening commute for some city workers.
But school wasn't cancelled much to "the teenagers" disappointment!

That looks like a messy condition. I'm glad we're not there. I don't like to be in the snow. We're flying to Washington on the 7th for Marcus homecoming. We figured the roads would be too bad to drive on.
