The Guard Department...

The Guard Department at our house has been sleeping on the job!
There is a local stray cat, everyone in the neighborhood knows her, she is calico, very wild and you can hear her at night fighting with other cats, she's been around a while.

One of our neighbors saw she had gotten torn up in one of her fights and so she felt badly and left food and water out for her, and well she has never gone away.

Yesterday we noticed she had been living way back behind and underneath one of the bushes under a window at our house.
And she has a little family now.

They won't stay out long enough for you to get close,
they know how to hide like she does pretty fast.

But they are getting out from under the bush more now,
and they are pretty darn cute.

If our dogs only knew this was just a few
feet from where they sleep!

Here kitty, kitty!

Ch-ch-ch changes....

Sunday I was released from serving as the ward young women president in church and a new president was called.   I love her and KNOW the work of the Lord will move forward as He intends. I have absolutely LOVED serving with the youth.  They have taught me soooo.
I have made friends and grown in ways I never imagined.
It is common to have change in our church, and I am so grateful the next president will have the opportunity to receive blessings from the Lord that I have felt in my life over the past 3 years.  I would be very selfish to want everything to stay the same.
It's been quite a journey, I am sad it's over, but look forward new opportunities, and dinner with my husband on Wednesday nights again.  I know I will get through this difficult change... but in the mean time I have a few really cool distractions!!

Elder Snow arrived back on U.S. soil yesterday!!
I know... I am crying too!!
My really good friend Amber, my heart is with you... I can't believe he is finally back in your arms!
My Bishop and Boss... he's finally home, yay, hang on!!
I can't believe I am saying this, but I can't wait to see him and give him my own big hug of appreciation for his service and just let him know how much he is loved!!  And how much he was missed.
He will be okay with me being weird like that!
And it's a Girl!!
Katie had her baby... Blakely Shea 6lbs 4oz, 20.5inches!
Congratulations to the Bishop Family!!
