Sis and I got up early to go walking with my bff...
1st things 1st to get the kids on the bus.
Self Portrait of me and Sis! Don't we look happy!!!
Sis was begging to get her hair done... one of those things she didn't get done in her hectic busy crazy life before she left Seattle. Yep, that is right, she left Seattle to come to Idaho to get her hair done... very trusting huh!
But I knew just where to take her... my Katie is the best in town... well I drive way far out of town to get my hair done, but I knew she would do good for Sis. The Before Picture...
The after Picture..
There were some funny moments with Katie too... Sis loves her hair colored red, the redder the better... so we were looking at charts and colors together and Katie asked her to point out what she had in mind... she really couldn't decide and asked for our help. We are all looking and I see one I kind of have in mind... and Sis points to one she kind of had in mind... I didn't say anything but gasped inside... Katie so sweet says that's really bright about the color Sis picked.... so then I point to my suggestion on the other end of the spectrum of reds... Katie said that was the one she was looking at and when we giggle a little about how far they were apart, shared that she gasped inside when Sis pointed to hers... me too... we were rolling. So we worked through the reds and picked one, and it turned out fabulous!
It was a crazy busy day, had to go to Costco and pick up food for the boys campout.
But Sis managed to get in a nap... Morgan has found a new friend! She loves her Auntie!
The last crazy thing today is 2J's takes his final exam for drivers training to determine whether he get's his permit to drive or not. He looks so nervous!
But he made it... and got to drive home...
Good thing Auntie was here to give him help from the front seat... so I could sit in the back and take pictures (I was really secretly crying and wiping up the tears... not because he is a scarry driver, but my BABY IS DRIVING).
He called his Papa and Nene....
This is almost the same look as before the test... I am kind of burning out my kid on picture taking...
Then to finish off our crazy busy day... we picked up my other Sis (bro's wifey) at the airport... this really made me smile too! She is so much fun, and a fellow crafter... I'm going to get her hooked on blogging before the weekend is over.
This is our self portrait.... another smiling moment.... it took us 5 tries to get a good one! We were laughing so hard my belly aches! It is going to be a good time with them here.

My Sister is here...
I can't believe it... my sister is finally here, I carry my camera around all day and not one picture.
I picked her up from the airport and she is so devoted to ww we went right to our meeting... she is still doing really well with her weight, so hopefully her good infuence is going to rub off on me while she is here.
We left the meeting and went to the post office in town to get stamps.
Then we came home... Morgan was thrilled to see her of course! and Rudy too, but he isn't so big he can lick you in the face when you come in the door. Sis had been sick before she came and exhausted so she relaxed on the couch, and I made some super yummy taco soup (2 cups = 1.5 points ww WOW!!)
Then my Strong Silent Mysterious Man came home for lunch... he ate the taco soup and I even warned him about the squash in it... he'd rather I not put veggies in it, but said he couldn't taste them.
When 2J's was out of school we picked him up and wisked him off to get his haircut... then sis was craving a non-fat frozen yogurt... our little town is torn up and under construction all over... I couldn't get to the place I knew had it... so we drove all over, and finally DQ... they didn't have non-fat, but very low fat version which worked since we did so good at lunch.
Then we came home and made taco's and taco salads (mixed crew at my house) and visited and relaxed until the boys went to Youth Group at the church.... me and sis watched Ice Age... she hasn't seen any movies for a while, so we have some catching up to do.
It is great to have her here... I will be sure and take pics today!

All Play an d No work...
My Sister is coming today, My Sister is coming today!!!
Wahoo!!
I know, I am really bad... All play and no work over the weekend, leaves me with a sink full of dishes piled up.... this is the after photo. No way I was posting the before. And this is also just what had to be hand washed that didn't fit into the dishwasher... and trust me I know how to jam pack a dishwasher.
Yep, all play and no work over the weekend also left me with this big huge pile of laundry too. I know after talking to my bff with 8 (count them 8) children, I have no room to complain about laundry for 3. But laundry is my least favorite chore after grocery shopping. Uggg!!!
But it's all worth it, cause MY SISTER IS COMING TODAY!!!!

Boys, boys, and more boys....
This weekend my Strong Silent Mysterious Man took his 12-13 year old scouts on a bike ride in preparation to their big 50 Mile Bike Ride coming up. Of course 2J's wants in on all the action with the younger boys. They were up early on Saturday, my plan was to sleep in, but there was so much commotion.. I had to get up and take pictures!
The bikes checked out OK...
Some of the boys were on time.... (it's still dark outside)
Some boys don't get out of bed before dark... but eventually they all made it over.
So my husband, their fearless leader gave them some rules and safety to follow....
And off they rode into the sunrise...
One of the Mom's drove the pilot truck, in case of illness, or accident (I am always thankful when they think safety 1st)
and she is totally a dog person and insisted Morgan go with her to keep her company.
I guess when they got to the stopping place for lunch, it was by the Snake River and Morgan got to go swimming! Her favorite!! The boys fed her banana's and parts of sammies and chips (nice well balanced dog lunch, Ugggg)...
And she was out like a light when they got back home...
It was a 39 mile trip this time, and both boys were pooped out, but loved every minute of it! Can't wait to do the 50 miles next.
I was reading one of my sis n laws blogs and she had a bunch of boys at her house camped out... I love those times, with a bunch of boys in the house! And 2J's hasn't had any over for a while, so I was really reveling in her joy...
Well, later on Saturday there was a meeting planned at our house...
and we got to have a pile of boys over! They worked on a communication merit badge and created a flyer for the cubs next Pack Meeting.
We made brownies for them, they played around for a while and then I got to send them home to their mothers to feed them dinner... it was fun, and really funny to listen to them talk when they didn't know I was listening. Hilarious!
Most of them catch on when there is a pile of shoes by the door, to take theirs off. Mom trained them well. But mind you, you have to weigh your options, dirty carpets, or stinky feet... cause trust me this many boy feet at one time in our little house... peeewwwwuuuu!
They worked well together... and got the job done.
Can you believe how many fit into this little tiny bedroom.
I left when they started the farting game....
They are all so different... some are into music and wanted my hubby to teach them some new riff's...
The rest played a game of football out in our culdesac... we don't have a bunch of kids on our block... so the neighbors must have thought it was an invasion.
But a good time was had by all...
I remember visiting another sis n laws when she had a bunch of teenagers in the house... and it seemed a little crazy to me. 2J's was really little then, so I was overwhelmed by the sight... and she said she loved having them at her house. That way she knew what they were doing, and what they talked about, and who they were with... it totally makes sense to me now, I love it when they are with us, stinky and all, I wouldn't have it any other way!
I will make up for all the boys, boys, boys this weekend... the girls are all coming to my house to stay over for the annual Womens Fitness Celebration 5k walk! Yippee! I can't wait!
