General Conference Weekend...

It was a great conference weekend...
for the Saturday afternoon session we were blessed to have some extra missionaries!
They were really piled in our little house, but we felt so blessed to have them with us.

When the MTC Choir sang, they were making coments like "My Momma is probably at home crying right now" and then looked over and I was wiping the tears, yep my heart is so full!!
I LOVE conference weekend.
When they spotted David Archuleta in the MTC Choir, they all thought that was really cool!

Isn't their enthusiasm infectious?
It still makes me cry.

Friday Date Night...

Friday Night we had a date night at Costco...
And my strong silent mysterious man let me photograph the night so we could send it to Elder Dayley.
He LOVES Costco...
And their chocolate muffins...

And Samples!!
This week they had licorice... red and black and...

Pineapple??  and...

Stawberry?? and...

Green Apple??  Weird, but soft and good, mmmm.

Of course he LOVES that they pay homage to the beginning of golf season... he drules in this isle!

And he LOVES the food court!

Especially the greasy pepperoni pizza!

So we ate a piece for him...

Is it cruel to send him this one??
Love you Jacob... missin' you buddy!!

Ahhh

Nothing like time with my therapist!
Thanks Katie!!

Family Home Evening...

Monday night we went to the assisted living home for our family night.
I was tired, and just barely got home from work in time to go...

I might have been murmmering to my strong silent mysterious man for signing us up and then not stepping up to prepare anything to share when we got there....

But we were seriously so blessed to get to be with our neighbors, it was a wonderful time and are hearts were so filled with an abundance of love when we left.

Letters from Paraguay...

Last weekend we got a letter from Elder Dayley...
 I love the unique stamps...
So yeah I make my strong silent mysterious man open them carefully so we can save them.

It takes so long for mail to get back and forth, I am so grateful for our weekly emails!  I would not survive without it.

There was guarani money inside and we found out in his email, it was supposed to pay for the postage, but they forgot to take it out before they mailed it.
Its such old money, and made from almost a fabric, it was so worn and soft.   We got a half of a page, and there were more letters inside the envelope for us to mail from here for him to family and a few friends... no I am not jealous that "the girls" got several pages and mine was only have full... no not at all :)
