This year we decided to head up to the mountains for an archery shoot to spend our 4th of July afternoon.
All decked out in our matchy matchy red white and blue flag themed shirts... oh don't you know how my boys loved that request, but they were good sports just to make Mom happy!
We had lots of fun shooting!
Taylor got to go with us. Rudy was still recovering from the toenail ordeal, and Morgan doesn't deal with the heat very well, so we left them at home in the air conditioning... it was sooooo hot outside!

We met some friends who had camped over night the night before and got soaking wet by the pouring rains. They are Annie's owners and Annie is Morgan's sister. Everytime she went running by me when we were hiking, I would call her Morgan by mistake. They look exactly alike, except for their heads are a little different shape, and Annie is like Morgan on 3 months of caffiene!! She is a wild and crazy thing and never stops... she even made Taylor look dosile!! Can you imagine that?

What a wonderful way to spend the Fourth of July....out in God's Country! Can hardly believe how much Taylor has committed to social change. That is terrific.
Looking good in those marching T shirts!!!!!
Thanks Mom... miss you, love you!
